After many months of neglect, I have resumed the journey of understanding incense. I got into the premium pack from Shoyeido and took some notes about them. I included the incense I felt I was the most familiar with (Fu-In Kyara) and a wildcard I received from my father in law (Shibayama something)
With the help of my wife, I went through them all one by one, blindfolded (my eyes were closed~) I ended up getting a score of 5/8. The one I thought I knew the best I got wrong, my nose is trash. While I go smell these sticks for another 20 minutes, here were my notes as I went. I will put burn/smoke notes as they come (since my internet is back, not often! ha ha) Stuff that is bolded is very distinct, can’t be misinterpreted, kind of thing (to me)
